• On July 30th, 2022, the English and Japanese Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Twitter accounts posted an edited image showing Wilbur's Seaplane flying in the sky to tease the addition of Orville and Wilbur to the game. On August 15th, 2022, the Japanese account replied to its tweet, stating that Wilbur's Seaplane does not have the ability to fly and apologizing for the misleading image, and telling players to contact them through the app if they already purchased it and are not satisfied with the item.
