==Happy Helper Plan== The Happy Helper Plan is a subscription focused around the Camp Caretaker feature. It costs US $2.99 per month and has a 30-day free trial. In addition to the benefits shared between plans, the Happy Helper Plan grants access to the following features: ===60 Leaf Tickets Per Month=== Members receive 60 Leaf Tickets once a month, each month they are subscribed. These can be claimed by tapping the Present icon to the lower right of the screen during the subscription period. ===Camp Caretaker=== The Happy Helper Plan allows the player so appoint a villager as their Camp Caretaker. The Camp Caretaker gives the player rewards for requests that have not been completed by the player, collects items, gains friendship points, and can walk and chat with the player. After the player subscribes, they will be prompted to appoint a Camp Caretaker. This can also be done later, by opening the map and tapping the bottom-right Camp Caretaker Info button. When the player goes to appoint their Camp Caretaker for the first time, they will first be approached by Isabelle, who will give the player a basic explanation of what the Camp Caretaker does. The player can then pick their Camp Caretaker from a list of all the villagers they have met at least once, regardless of whether they have been invited yet to the campsite. The villager that is selected to be the Camp Caretaker will show up on the player's Member Card and an icon of the villager will be shown next to the player in the Friends list, visible to other players. After the selection has been made, the Camp Caretaker will show their first Caretaker Report, which shows them having completed requests for 4 random villagers and the rewards the player gets, and the items they have collected for the player, and they will gain +5 friendship points. A new Caretaker Report can be viewed after every rotation (every 3 hours) by tapping on the Camp Caretaker villager, or by opening the map and tapping the bottom-right Caretaker Report button. Through the Caretaker Report, the rewards and collected items from up to the last 8 rotations (the last 24 hours) can be obtained. The Camp Caretaker earns +5 friendship points for each rotation in the Caretaker Report, up to +40 friendship points at once for 8 rotations.
If the player does not complete villager requests themselves, the next Caretaker Report will show that the Camp Caretaker completed their requests and the player will be rewarded with roughly the same amount of Wood, Steel, Cotton, Paper, Preserves, Bells, occasionally Gifts, and during Garden Events event flower seeds, that they would have gotten if they had completed the requests themselves. The villagers do not receive friendship points if the Camp Caretaker completed their requests, and the Camp Caretaker will not use items from the player's inventory to clear requests. Requests completed by the Camp Caretaker count towards goals that require completing requests for visiting animals.
Every rotation, the Camp Caretaker will also collect items for the player. These items are usually currently available Fish, Bugs, Shells, or Fruit, but may also occasionally include: Wood, Steel, Cotton, Paper, Preserves, any regular type of Essence, Sparkle Stones, Gifts, Sea Throw Net, River Throw Net, Honey, and Fertilizer. They will also help out during events by collecting event creatures during Garden Events, Tourney Fish during Fishing Tourney Events (which will be doubled if the player is renting the Golden Rod), and Gyroidites during Scavenger Hunt Events. However, the amount of event items they collect will not be enough to complete the events by itself. Collected items count towards goals that require the player to pick up or catch things.
A breakdown of the rewards and collected items can be viewed by tapping the top-right Details button in the Caretaker Report. If the player wishes to change their Camp Caretaker, this can be done as often as the player wants by simply opening the Camp Caretaker Info menu again and selecting the Change Animal option. It is also possible to appoint a random villager by tapping the Auto-Select button.
The Camp Caretaker Info menu also displays the number of times the current Camp Caretaker has helped, and the amount of days they have been on the job. These numbers are cumulative, and do not reset when the player removes the villager as Camp Caretaker and then reinstates them.
Moreover, the Camp Caretaker Info menu allows the player to relieve the villager as Camp Caretaker, change the Camp Caretaker's outfit, select whether they want the Camp Caretaker to follow them around, and whether they want the Camp Caretaker to be the villager that appears in the Planner. If the player has the 'Walk Together' option set to on, the Camp Caretaker will walk with the player in the following places: *Saltwater Shores *Lost Lure Creek *Sunburst Island *Breezy Hollow *Market Place *OK Motors When the player is walking with the Camp Caretaker at these locations, they can tap on the Camp Caretaker to interact with them. The Camp Caretaker will either chat with the player, strike one of several different poses with in turn the player character responding to it, or dance or strike a pose together with the player.
The dialog when the Camp Caretaker chats with the player is, as is the case with all villager dialog, determined by their personality. The Camp Caretaker has dialog for small talk, and can ask the player to play rock-paper-scissors with them, but also has different dialog based on things such as the location they are currently at, time of day, day in the week, month, and season. They will also mention it when it is their birthday, when it is the player's birthday, or when the player and Camp Caretaker share their birthdays. The Camp Caretaker will be present at the Campsite regardless of whether the 'Walk Together' option is set to on or off. If the Camp Caretaker is not one of the villagers visiting the campsite, they will be standing next to the player's Camper, and reduce the amount of Special Characters that can appear when placing Special Furniture from 4 to 3. If they are visiting, they will interact with furniture like other campsite visitors. At the Cabin, the Camp Caretaker will only show up when they are one of the villagers visiting it. At both locations, if the Camp Caretaker is present, the player can interact with them and change their clothes or feed them Snacks. ===Album=== Members of the Happy Helper Plan and Furniture & Fashion Plan both gain access to the Album feature. Members of the Happy Helper Plan can save 5 photos, while members of the Furniture & Fashion Plan can save 30. Players that are subscribed to both plans can have up to 35 photos stored in their album. The player's Fave Photo does not count towards this total. Members can save a photo in their album by taking a picture in photo mode and saving the picture in an album slot, or by setting it as their Fave Photo and swapping it with a different photo that is currently stored in the album. Members can save up to 10 photos to their album per day, and can also change their Fave Photo 10 times per day. Note that the player can only swap their Fave Photo with photos that are in the slots of the player's currently subscribed plan, and, to free up a slot when saving a new photo, they can only delete photos that are in the slots of the player's currently subscribed plan. For example, if the player was previously only subscribed to the Furniture & Fashion Plan and saved photos in their album then and is now only subscribed to the Happy Helper Plan and filled up the 5 new slots with 5 new photos, the player cannot swap the old photos with their Fave Photo, and if they want to free up a slot for a new photo they have to delete one of the 5 new photos. The player can access their own album and the album of other players by opening the Social menu, tapping on their Fave Photo, and tapping the To Album button. By tapping on photos in their own album, the player can view the stamps photos have received, share them, save them to their device, delete them, set them as Fave Photo, or make them private. A photo can only receive stamps when it is currently set as the player's Fave Photo, but the stamps remain on the photo when the photo is stored in the album. If the player is no longer subscribed, they can still access their album, view their photos and the stamps they have received, share photos, save them to their device, delete them, and make them private. However, they can no longer set photos from their album as their Fave Photo. ===Additional Seasonal Event Reward=== Since the introduction of the Planner, members of the Happy Helper Plan are able to get an additional reward from seasonal events. So far, this has been 1 Reissue Material Map each seasonal event. This reward requires a certain amount of the seasonal material to be collected by the player through participating in that month's Garden Event, Fishing Tourney Event, and Scavenger Hunt Event, before the player is able to claim it. ===Free Trial=== The Happy Helper Plan has a permanently available free trial that grants access to all its features for a period of 30 days. The free trial automatically gets transformed into a paid subscription at the end of the free trial period unless automatic renewal is canceled 24 hours or more before the free-trial period ends.
