Target Bugs
Fruit Beetle- Horned Dynastid
- Goliath Beetle
Increased Bug Appearance
During the event, the following rare bugs will appear more often:
- Horned Dynastid
- Goliath Beetle
- Miyama Stag
- Cyclommatus Stag
Notes:
- The miyama stags and cyclommatus stags are not target bugs for the Summertime Bug Catching event goals.
- Appearance rates for the bugs listed above will be increased for the duration of the Summertime Bug Catching event goals.
Useful Items

Beetle Honey, a useful item for clearing these challenges!
This item allows you to catch 10 bugs at once—and you are guaranteed to get at least one 
Fruit Beetle and one 
Horned Dynastid!
Notes
- Bugs given to you by animals or obtained from Market Boxes do not count toward Summertime Bug Catching goals.
- Using beetle honey requires Leaf Tickets.

An All Together Now...Horned Dynastid event will be occurring alongside the Summertime Bug Catching event!
Play with users around the world to catch lots of horned dynastids!
Event Details
After the event ends, the total number of horned dynastids caught by everyone playing the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp game over the course of the event will be announced on the official Animal Crossing Twitter account!
If the total number of horned dynastids caught reaches more than 3 million, we will send 50 
Leaf Tickets out to everyone! So, all together now...catch those horned dynastids!
