Gulliver's Ship

With Gulliver's Ship, you can export lots of different items, including insects, fish, fruit, and cargo, a new kind of item that's just for exporting!

Different islands are looking for different items. Tap on an island to check what items you'll be able to send there.

You can export cargo to three islands at the same time!

Islands

By using Gulliver's Ship, you can export items to various islands in exchange for souvenirs. The islands all need specific items, which you can craft and then load onto the ship. Different islands offer different items as souvenirs. If you collect all of the souvenirs from an island, it will be marked complete, and you will receive a completion bonus. Three islands are available at a time. You can send the ship to multiple islands at once, but you can't send the ship multiple times to a single island on the same voyage. By refreshing islands, you can look at new destinations for the ship to travel to. One or more of the current islands may reappear after you refresh.

Cargo

Packages and crates are cargo items, intended specifically for use on Gulliver's Ship. They cannot be placed in your campsite, cabin, or camper. To craft cargo, go to Furniture, then Cargo. You will be able to craft cargo after tapping on the updated Gulliver's Ship.

Export Points

Load items onto the ship to increase the number of export points. Each item is worth a certain number of export points. For the ship to depart, make sure the total number of export points from loaded items is high enough. When you've added enough export points, you can send off Gulliver's Ship! At the end of the ship's voyage, it will return with souvenirs from the island!

If the ship departs with a surplus of export points, this will not affect what items you receive from souvenirs or how long it takes for the ship to return.

Souvenirs

You can check what items you might receive from souvenirs by tapping on the Island Souvenirs sign attached to each island. Each island offers a different set of potential items in its souvenirs. After the ship departs, some time will pass, and then it will return with a selection of souvenirs. You also have the option of using Leaf Tickets during the voyage to make the ship return right away. You'll choose a souvenir without knowing what's inside. If the ship returns with multiple souvenirs, you can take one without using Leaf Tickets. To take any additional souvenirs, you will have to use Leaf Tickets. If you get all of the souvenirs from an island, you'll also get a Completion Bonus!

There is no way to see what item is inside a souvenir before taking it. The appearance of a souvenir does not reflect what item it contains. The item inside the first souvenir is determined before the ship departs. Items contained in other souvenirs are determined when the ship returns. Closing the game will not affect what items you receive from souvenirs.

Souvenir items are awarded randomly based on appearance rates. Note that rates are rounded, so the numbers in Item Appearance Rates may not always add up to 100%. Appearance rates will change depending on the number of items remaining on the island. The item contained in a souvenir is determined randomly based on the list of items you are able to collect. Therefore, you may receive duplicate items.

If a game update removes an island after the ship has set sail toward that island, the voyage will end and one souvenir will be sent to your mailbox. You will not have the option of using Leaf Tickets to obtain additional souvenirs. If an update changes souvenir contents after the ship has departed, the first souvenir you take will reflect appearance rates from before the update, as it is determined before the ship departs. If an update changes appearance rates after the ship has departed, the first souvenir you take will reflect appearance rates from before the update, but other souvenirs will reflect updated appearance rates.

If an item is sent to your mailbox because your inventory is full, there is a time limit for how long it will be saved. You will need to collect your item from the mailbox within 30 days of receiving a souvenir, or the item will be lost. Note that animal maps will not be lost, regardless of how much time has passed.

Refreshing Islands

Islands do not refresh automatically. After five days, starting when you first tapped updated Gulliver, you can refresh islands, which will make three new islands appear. Because the islands are chosen randomly, it is possible for up to two islands from before the refresh to reappear. Rather than waiting for the set period of time to pass, you can use 300,000 Bells to refresh the islands right away. Refreshing won't clear your progress on uncompleted islands. You can continue working toward completion when these islands reappear. You can't refresh islands if there are any current voyages or souvenir shipments waiting for you.
