The All Aflutter Butterfly Goals event involved catching butterflies on Sunburst Island from February 18th to February 21st, 2020.

Butterflies had to be caught by the player, or by using Honey, Flutter Honey, or Beetle Honey to count towards the event goals. Butterflies received as gifts from villagers or bought from Market Boxes did not count. After the event ended any remaining Common Butterfly and Purple Butterfly stayed in the inventory and were able to be bought, sold, and used to fulfill animals' requests.
